Custom closet company included among top remodelers across the country

Closet America, a leading home professional closet organization manufacturer and installer headquartered in Lanham, Maryland, announced that the company has once again earned a spot on this year’s list of Remodeling magazine’s top companies. The Remodeling 550 list, subject of a cover story published annually by the industry’s leading trade publication, ranks 550 remodelers by annual revenue to create an instant picture of who, what and where the industry’s largest companies are. This is Closet America’s third consecutive year to appear on the list, moving up to spot #111 from last years spot at #124.

Jim Cory, editor of Remodeling, who organized and wrote this years report, notes that home renovation is a unique business in a number of ways. “One way is the sheer number of businesses that serve the market for fixing or altering the home.  From full-scale remodeling to the neighborhood handyman who repairs a broken faucet, they number more than half million separate business entities.”
